Why is my Emissary-assigned phone number different from my personal or work phone number?

Emissary assigned a brand new phone number to your account with a requested area code. This number is different from your personal or work number because it is tied to a separate inbox, and candidates won't see your personal/work phone number when you text them with Emissary. If you have call forwarding enabled, when candidates call your Emissary-assigned number, that will be routed to the phone number set up.
