User Opt-out

If a recipient responds with "STOP", "STOPALL", "UNSUBSCRIBE", "CANCEL", "END", or "QUIT" Emissary will not send that number messages from any user associated with your company's account going forward.

User Opt-in

A recipient can respond with "START", "YES" or "UNSTOP" to start receiving texts again as long as they have not been blocked from sending responses.

Viewing Opt-out vs Opt-in status

When you click on a phone number it will be highlighted in green to indicate that the individual can receive messages. Those who have opted-out are highlighted in orange.

How to manually unsubscribe or block a user

If you wish to manually unsubscribe a contact you can do so by selecting the three vertical dots on the right of the conversation and selecting "Unsubscribe this contact".

If you wish to block them from responding in the future, select "Unsubscribe and Block".
